(Phormio) was a good general. And in the Taxiarchoi it is also reported that
he was long-suffering ... Also Dionysus (thus Meineke : “Dionysius” Σ) in
Eupolis’ Taxiarchoi, while learning the customs of generals (“generalships”
Meineke : “campaigns” Kaibel) and of wars at Phormio’s side, says (fr. 274):
