Gesamtkonzept und Ziele
In Zeiten des Internets beteiligen sich immer mehr Personen an kollektiven On-
line-Projekten. Dazu gehören Webseiten wie Wikipedia für enzyklopädisches Wis-
sen oder OpenStreetMap für geographische Informationen (z. B. für Straßen oder
Gebäude, aber auch Berge oder Wälder). Solche Shared Data Sources zeichnen sich
dadurch aus, dass jeder Nutzer neue Informationen beitragen und existierende
Informationen ändern kann. Obwohl sich die Nutzer bezüglich ihrer geographi-
